In 2024, DISTAR celebrates 30 years on the market, which means that it was founded back in 1994 as part of a Ukrainian-Italian collaboration.
The company’s operations began with the production of diamond wheels for Italian ceramic tile factories. It used the experience gained in the early days of the production of tools for the construction industry and in the field of stone processing. The involvement of ambitious professionals and regular investments of more than 1 million euros per year in development were important conditions for the company to operate and establish itself on the market, which at the same time enabled it to grow into a large and successful European company, producing innovative professional diamond tools in partnership with world-leading companies.
