Proxxon is a German company that specializes in the production of high quality fine power and hand tools for demanding users, model makers, mechanics and craftsmen. The company is recognized worldwide for its expertise in miniature tools and precision engineering.
With this brand, we are trying to complement our offer with quality products aimed at professional detailed tiling work, which should make your work easier and at the same time increase the performance and quality of the work.
Proxxon and its products are focused on precision and miniature materials processing. It distinguishes itself from conventional tool manufacturers by focusing on tools that enable work with extreme precision and on small areas. Their tools are designed to be quiet, vibration-free and ergonomically adapted for fine motor skills, making them ideal for model making, electronics, restoration and detailing a variety of materials.
Proxxon offers two main product lines:
- Proxxon Micromot System: This line includes a wide range of small power tools such as micro-drills, grinders, milling machines, saws and engraving gouges. An extensive range of accessories (drills, cutters, blades) of industrial and dental quality is available. Also included are bench-top machines such as a bench drill or micro-milling machine.
- Proxxon Industrial: This division manufactures professional hand tools for use in industry, automotive service and crafts. Proxxon offers 2 types of products in our shop:
- Angle grinders – LHW models
- Angle drills – LWB models
Angle grinders are represented by the LHW models from the Micromot precision tool range, which differ from each other in terms of power supply. The first LHW model has a corded power supply, the second LHW/A model has a battery power supply. These grinders are suitable for cutting, carving and sanding various materials such as steel, glass, ceramics or wood. The maximum diameter of the compatible blades is 50 mm. Thanks to its compact dimensions and lightweight design, it is also particularly suitable for detailed cutting and carving of tiles. For easier handling and access to the work site, the “long neck” and compact body are made of POLYAMID.
In addition to the included carrying case, 2 grinding wheels and 1 cutting wheel, a Li-ion battery and quick charger are included with the battery model.
Angle drills are also represented by LBW models from the Micromot range, which again differ in the way they are powered. The LBW/E model has a corded power supply, the LBW/A model has a battery power supply. These angle drills are suitable for milling and drilling in various materials such as steel, glass, ceramics or wood. Thanks to its compact dimensions and lightweight design, it is also particularly suitable for detailed milling and drilling in tiles. Also, the drills have a “long neck” and a compact body made of POLYAMID for the easiest possible handling and working.
For the battery model, in addition to the included carrying case and clamps, a Li-ion battery and quick charger are also included.
Even the best electric instruments wouldn’t serve their purpose without the right and high-quality accessories. That’s why you will find a variety of accessories and consumables in our range. For the Proxxon angle grinder we offer high quality cutting wheel DISTAR BUTTERFLY. For grinding/polishing the edges of tiles, the DISTAR CoolPad 50 polishing discs are suitable.
For angle drill Proxxon you will find in our offer blade cover enabling tile cutting with water cooling (wet cutting). In combination with the cutting disc DISTAR BUTTERFLY this is the ideal combination for detailed cutting and carving of gres tiles.
For grinding porcelain or ceramic tiles, you can use the combination of the DISTAR NECTAR drill and grinding wheel.
