KAUFMANN manual tile cutters – TopLine Standard, Rock and Pro series + SuperLine series

A2E, s.r.o. introduces you to the Kaufmann brand, manufacturer of quality construction tools and its range of hand tile cutters divided into STANDARD, ROCK and PRO ranges.

KAUFMANN was founded in 1957 in Austria and since the 1980s has been manufacturing tools for builders and tilers for years. These tools, which can also be found in our e-shop tiler-market.sk, include the STANDARD, ROCK and PRO series hand cutters.

All 3 ranges of cutters are professional tools, which means that they are made of durable materials and provide high comfort when working. They are designed for cutting ceramic, stone and glass tiles.

• The STANDARD range is available in lengths from 630 mm to 1250 mm. The base is made of steel as standard, but can only be made of aluminium for a length of 630 mm.
• The ROCK range is available in lengths from 630 mm to 1250 mm. The base is made of steel as standard, only in the shortest dimension can it be made of aluminium.
• The PRO range is available in lengths from 630 mm to 1550 mm. The base is made of steel as standard, only in the shortest dimension can it be made of aluminium.
• The SuperLine range is available in lengths from 630 mm to 1250 mm. The base is made of aluminium as standard, which gives the cutter a lower weight compared to the TopLine range.

Cutters with a length of 920 mm and more can be equipped with two guide rails and castors, which make them easier to carry.

TopLine cutters have a solid guide bar, an adjustable ruler for 90 and 45-degree cuts and a precise and durable cutting head with ball bearings that make it easy to achieve high-precision, high-quality cuts. They also include a lockable tile “breaker” with a pressure force of up to 1000 kg with safety stops. The handle with a rubberised non-slip finish and the plastic feet, which also have a non-slip finish, increase comfort and performance when working. For easier carrying, each cutter has a locking mechanism on the cutting head to prevent unwanted movement.

There are also differences between the different ranges of cutters that improve performance and comfort when working and carrying. The measuring ruler of the STANDARD series is only 340 mm long, while the ROCK and PRO series are up to 430 mm long.

SuperLine cutters have a different, simpler ruler but with a superior length of 640 mm (320 mm either side of the cutting line).

The first setting allows cutting tiles with a thickness of 16 to 22 mm, the second setting with a thickness of up to 18 mm. For different tile thicknesses, the cutter also has two different breakers, differing in width and also in plastic protection.

Compared to the STANDARD series, the ROCK, PRO and SuperLine series have adjustable side supports to extend the work tables and support the paving for wider paving or diagonal cuts. Additionally, the SuperLine has sliding supports along the base. ROCK and PRO have a handle for easier carrying.

The difference between Kaufmann handheld cutters is also in the cutting direction. With row cutters STANDARD, ROCK and SuperLine are cut towards (against) the ruler. For the PRO line, the cut is made away from the ruler.

These cutters are designed for right-handed users. Cutters designed for left-handed use are marked TWIST.
