DISTAR CordSET – manual tool for arc cutting of tiles (Ref. 71419034039)

The Distar CordSET set is designed for manual cutting curves in ceramic and porcelain tiles. It allows very precise cutting of arcs in tiles, with 90° angles with different radius using high quality diamond cutting wire. It is especially designed for precise and detailed cutting of holes in tiles, e.g. for buttons, sockets, pipes, inspection holes, etc. The cutting line with a radius from 3 to 12 mm can be selected on a durable guide jig, which is attached to the tile by means of clips and wedges. Water cooling is recommended for longer wire life.

The set includes:

• 5 pieces of high quality diamond cutting wire with a length of 30 cm and a diameter of 0.5 mm
• 1 guide jig with 3, 6 or 12 mm radius cut lines
• 4 pieces of quick-release handles for cutting wire
• 20 pieces of special staples
• 4 pieces of plastic wedges
• 1 sponge with high water absorption

High quality diamond cutting wire provides 6 times longer life and 50 % faster cutting speed than other conventional cutting wires. Wire life is estimated at 12 to 18 cm of cutting, depending on the material being cut and cooling. Cutting a 12 mm radius will only take 4 minutes.
