RUBI Tile Positioning Tool (Ref. 60926)

The RUBI tool is a professional device designed for fast and highly precise positioning of tiles both horizontally and vertically. It is especially suitable for ceramic and large-format tiles. It can be used for floor tiles as well as wall claddings. No additional tools are required. The tool is excellent for maintaining consistent grout joints between tiles and for eliminating height differences (“lippage”) between tiles. Maximum load capacity of the tool is 100 kg.

After placing the tile into the adhesive, precise positioning relative to the other tiles can be challenging. This is especially difficult with heavy large-format tiles and when the adhesive has a high level of stickiness.

The RUBI tool assists in situations where small and very precise tile adjustments are needed. It features two 150 mm vacuum suction cups that ensure excellent grip. One suction cup attaches to a previously laid tile, while the second attaches to the tile you want to gently move. Then, threaded mechanisms are used to adjust distances in both horizontal and vertical planes. The vertical adjustment range is 0–40 mm (sideways movement), and the horizontal adjustment range is 0–20 mm (up/down movement). This allows for perfectly precise positioning of the tile.

The tool does not replace the function of leveling systems and is recommended as a complementary accessory to them!
