DISTAR CoolPAD 50 mm Diamond Polishing Pad #1 for dry polishing (Ref. 81419031092)

The DISTAR diamond polishing pad from the CoolPAD series is specially designed for initial, coarser dry polishing of ceramics and porcelain gres using small angle grinders or long-necked drills (e.g. Proxxon LHW or Proxxon LWB). Thanks to its diameter of only 50 mm, it is particularly suitable for polishing tiles with more complex shapes or in less accessible areas. The composition of the diamond layer provides a consistently high grinding speed, ensuring the best surface quality even on glazed surfaces. The shape of the grinding edge ensures efficient removal of dust from the grinding area.
Thanks to these features, one CoolPAD pad replaces three conventional polishing pads of different grits, making the job easier and faster. It attaches to the drift disc with Velcro.

Before first use, the polishing surface of the pad must be abraded with abrasive material! For finer polishing, we recommend using CoolPAD #2, #3 and #4 pads.
