SIMA Diamond Blade 115/22.2 PREMIUM extra thin (Ref. R-6902115)

The SIMA 115/22.2 PREMIUM blade is technologically advanced with a reinforced core and an edge thickness of 1.4 mm, specially designed for thin and clean cuts. It is intended for cutting all types of porcelain, ceramics, and gres. Suitable for dry cutting. The blade is cooled by airflow during rotation, which passes through the teeth and holes of the blade. Both the blade body and the segments are designed to absorb the high temperatures generated during cutting, and the diamonds are of high quality to withstand demanding working conditions.

Blades for dry cutting perform better when cooling is adequate. This means that cutting quality improves if done in short, intermittent steps in a continuous rhythm. A fundamental mistake is increasing the pressure to improve or speed up cutting. Insufficient cooling causes the blade to overheat, change color to purple, and results in a drop in cutting performance.
