RUBI FORAGRES Diamond Core Bit 40 mm (Ref. 04963)

The FORAGRES diamond core bit with a diameter of 40 mm from RUBI is designed to simplify drilling holes in hard materials. Drilling into sintered tiles, porcelain tiles, granite, and marble requires professional core bits that create precise holes without damaging the material. The drilling depth is 30 mm. The lifespan of FORAGRES core bits is three times longer than Easygres bits and depends on handling and material hardness. Improper handling significantly reduces the core bit’s lifespan. Water cooling is required. The core bit is laser welded. You only need a regular drill or cordless drill without hammer function for drilling. The bit typically drills about 60 holes. The maximum recommended drilling speed for FORAGRES bits is 900 RPM.

WARNING – When drilling into substrates like adhesive, concrete, brick, etc., the drill bit experiences significant wear and its lifespan decreases drastically! The best practice is to use this drill bit to penetrate only the hard tile or slab, then continue drilling with a carbide bit – but without hammer action!
