RUBI’s system enables efficient cutting of large-format porcelain tiles with a thickness of 3-10 mm and a maximum length of 320 cm. The system consists of several parts: 3 guide rails with a length of 112 cm, a cutting trolley, SLAB breaking pliers and an assembly wrench. The system is supplied in a practical bag. The SLAB breaking pliers have a double function, they can break the tile as normal breaking pliers or with the help of a clamping screw. The guide rails are made of aluminium, which gives them high strength and at the same time low weight, only 16.2 kg. The strips are attached to the tile using vacuum suction cups. The system is supplied with a professional RUBI EXTREME cutting wheel with a diameter of 22 mm made of tungsten carbide.
